PLS 2021 Adaptive Leadership

Goalbook, the online tool that is available for all HISD educators, provides instructional and behavior support resources to assist in instructional planning and delivery. Goalbook contains tools including learning goals, assessments, downloadable and virtual resources, and instructional and behavioral support strategies. This session is designed for school and district leaders. We’ll start by providing an overview of the resources available in Goalbook, to ensure you know how to fully navigate the system. Then, we will focus on how you can support your teachers with using Goalbook, to ensure that they are getting the most out of the tool. We have seen that teachers who fully utilize Goalbook can see outstanding student outcomes, and our goal is to help you be prepared to support your teachers in using this valuable tool. Please come with a teacher in mind and be prepared to explore Goalbook in thinking of ways it can support your team!
